Attachment Focused Therapy

Our work is rooted in attachment theory—the understanding that our earliest relationships shape how we experience safety, connection, and ourselves.

These early patterns often continue into adulthood, influencing how we relate to partners, children, and even our own internal world.

In therapy, we bring awareness to these patterns while also working experientially to shift them. This is not just insight-based work—it is relational, embodied, and reparative.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and resolve distressing experiences.

In this practice, EMDR is used flexibly to support a range of needs, including:

  • Recent or single-incident trauma
  • Anxiety, panic, and distressing life events
  • Ongoing patterns rooted in earlier experiences

For clients seeking deeper work, EMDR can also be integrated within an attachment-focused framework to address developmental and relational trauma.

Advanced Training & Clinical Focus

Terese is a certified EMDR therapist with advanced training in attachment-focused EMDR ( through the Parnell Institute) allowing the work to be tailored to both immediate symptom relief and more complex, long-standing patterns.

Somatic and Nervous System Integration

The body holds the imprint of our experiences, often outside of conscious awareness.


We incorporate somatic work to help you:

* Recognize and regulate your nervous system

* Develop greater capacity to tolerate emotions

* Move out of chronic states of overwhelm, shutdown, or reactivity


This creates a foundation for change that is sustainable and integrated.
