Our Team

Terese Forster, MA CA LMFT #53069, AZ LMFT # 16233

Founder & Clinical Director

I am a trauma-focused therapist with advanced training in EMDR, somatic therapy, and attachment-based approaches. My work is centered on helping individuals understand and resolve the deeper patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others.

In addition to my clinical work, I provide supervision and consultation to therapists who are developing their skills in trauma-informed and attachment-focused care.

My approach is thoughtful, direct, and deeply relational. I believe meaningful change happens when therapy is both grounded in clinical expertise and guided by genuine human connection.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Somatic Psychology and am a Certified EMDR Therapist, with advanced training in attachment-focused EMDR. I have also completed additional somatic training in NeuroAffective Touch and The Three Fold Way. I am a member of CAMFT, EMDRIA,  The Parnell Institute and VCCC Alumni Connect.

Lauren Albrecht, MA

Lauren Albrecht, MA, MSG CA AMFT #135201

I am passionate about working with adults navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and relationship challenges, particularly mothers and caregivers balancing the demands of children and aging parents. With a background in gerontology, I understand the emotional complexity of the sandwich generation and midlife transitions. Using an attachment-informed, relational approach with nervous-system awareness, I help clients and families reduce anxiety, clarify their sense of self, and build more authentic, sustainable ways of living and relating.

What to Expect

Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and we aim to make the process clear and supportive.

Intake

We begin with a intake to understand your needs, answer questions, and determine fit.

Ongoing Work

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your goals. Sessions integrate insight, emotional processing, and somatic awareness.

Pace of Therapy

The length and depth of therapy vary depending on your goals. For some, this may involve focused work around a specific event or concern. For others, it may include more in-depth exploration of relational patterns and past experiences.

The pace is guided to support effective processing while maintaining stability and integration.

We invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation or to learn more about working together.
